All bodies are good bodies

Say hello to BODIES. Our newest poster that celebrates all bodies for the most simple reason that is #allbodiesaregoodbodies.

We live in a time where we’re being bombarded with a certain type of body that we should all strive to have. Well, we’re here to tell you that your body is great just the way it is. Your little lumps and bumps tell your story, what you’ve experienced, learned and mastered. Celebrate that.

Our bodies are pretty remarkable. They carry us through life, they can give birth, they can fight diseases. No wonder each body looks different.

That’s why it’s important we lift it up instead of tearing it down. It is so easy to only see our flaws, but studies show that people with negative body image concerns are more likely to be depressed, anxious, and suicidal than those without intense dissatisfaction over their appearance. Body image has a deep and lasting impact on our physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

Imagine we all started changing our perception of how a body should look. Wouldn’t Instagram be a much nicer place to find inspiration and the beach be a much nicer place to be?

As technology becomes more advanced and an intrinsic part of our everyday lives it is absolutely necessary we teach ourselves and our kids, younger siblings, nieces and nephews that their bodies are great no matter what they might look like. Whether they have short legs, long legs, soft bellies or rock-hard bellies.

The change starts now and it starts with you! #allbodiesaregoodbodies
