The ZODIAC collection
It is here! Our brand new ZODIAC collection. I have been working on (and re-working) it for more than a year - really trying to nail the look that I was going for, perfecting it. And now I am really excited to show you something different. Another side of my creative portfolio.
The collection is figurative, but it lets you explore the illustrations further as they might not be obvious what they are all about at first glance.
As with everything else that I design I wanted this collection to lift you in your winner mentality. That is why I have focused on the positive characteristics of the zodiac signs. Your zodiac sign tells you something about your strengths and likes, which can help you focus on being the best version of yourself - aka a total winner.
The concept of zodiac signs is widely discussed and is generally regarded as "pseudoscience", which is statements, beliefs, or practices that are claimed to be both scientific and factual but are incompatible with the scientific method. Nonetheless, our curiosity of the concept; what the different signs mean, what they stand for and how they impact our lives, will forever be interesting to us.
I really wanted to create a different option for zodiac sign art than what is already on the market. Something that is as much art as it is meaningful.
What is this zodiac sign thing all about?
There are 12 zodiac signs, and each sign has its own strengths and weaknesses, its own specific traits, desires and attitude towards life and people. In this collection I have chosen to focus on each sign’s strengths and positive traits as I truly believe focusing on the positive is the most beneficial for winners living their best life. Astrology helps us focus on these aspects and gain a better understanding of our potential and our positive traits. It gives us a glimpse of a person’s basic characteristics and preferences.
Each of the 12 horoscope signs belongs to one of the four elements: air, fire, water and earth. These elements represent a type of energy within each one of us and can help describe unique personality traits. The four zodiac elements tell us something about our basic character traits, emotions, behavior and thinking.
Water signs
Cancer (21 JUN - 22 JUL), Scorpio (23 OCT - 21 NOV) and Pisces (19 FEB - 20 MAR) are emotional and sensitive. They are highly intuitive and love deep conversations and intimacy. These three winner signs are always there to support their loved ones and are highly intuitive.
Fire signs
Aries (21 MAR - 19 APR), Leo (23 JUL - 22 AUG) and Sagittarius (22 NOV - 21 DEC) tend to be passionate and very adventurous. They are intelligent, self-aware and creative winners, always ready for action.
Earth signs
Taurus (20 APR - 20 MAY), Virgo (23 AUG - 22 SEP) and Capricorn (22 DEC - 19 JAN) are grounded and the ones that bring us down to earth. These winners are mostly conservative and realistic, but they can also be very emotional. They appreciate love and beauty in all its forms - and material goods. They are practical, stable and loyal and they stick by their people through hard times.
Air signs
Gemini (21 MAY - 20 JUN), Libra (23 SEP - 22 OCT) and Aquarius (20 JAN - 18 FEB) are rational, social and they love communication. These winners are thinkers, they are friendly intellectual, communicative and analytical. They enjoy giving advice and thrive at social gatherings.
It’s in the details
Each poster illustrates the zodiac sign in a figurative, quirky way. Elements of lucky numbers and pops of colour give the illustrations deepened meaning accompanied with handwritten descriptions of positive characteristics and traits.
The different elements all have one function: to give you power, winner mentality and fortune in your life.
I wanted to create a collection that is personal and which can decorate living rooms, bedrooms, children’s rooms - wherever you wish.
